Write in the Magazine
Got an analysis, perspective, or story to share?
The Consular Magazine, published by the Consular Affairs Center, welcomes writings on consular affairs and diplomatic networks.
Pieces should explore migration and travel, particularly where government policy, action, or diplomacy plays a role. Covering fields from international relations and law to information technology and beyond, the scope is broad. For example, topics may include protecting nationals abroad, handling visa processes, addressing legal challenges, or designing buildings for embassies and consulates.
The Magazine invites essays as well as diverse formats such as book reviews, case studies, interviews, op-eds, opinion pieces, policy analyses, and reports. Note: academic articles should be directed to The Consular Journal (TBA).
The Magazine is open to all, from students and young professionals to seasoned experts. By contributing to this open-access platform, authors share their work with a broad, global audience.
